Health Insurance Cover
We are recognised by all major Health Insurance Companies including Bupa, AXA PPP, Aviva, Standard Life, Permanent Health Company and Invoice them directly.
Please ensure you have contacted them prior to your first visit as you will be required to provide the name of your Insurance Company, your membership number and/or appropriate claim number to allow us to Invoice them directly.

Our clinic is located on the Festival Retail Park in Stoke-on-Trent and as such is easily accessible whether travelling by car, bus or foot. For directions on how to get here please visit our contact us page

Your appointment

Initial Assessment
On arrival at Lakeside you will be asked to fill in a registration form before your physiotherapist takes you through to an individual treatment room for assessment. They will record any relevant medical history regarding your condition, examine the area to be treated and diagnose where possible the problem. They will then provide you with a treatment plan and discuss this with you before commencing treatment. If Physiotherapy is not deemed to be appropriate we will advise accordingly and recommend further management. With your consent we will advise your GP of your attendance as a matter of course.

Length of Treatment
All appointments are set at 60 minutes including rehabilitation sessions.
For your initial assessment please try and arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to fill in a registration form thereby giving you the full hour with the physiotherapist.

What to wear
Please bear in mind when attending that your therapist will want to look at the area being treated and therefore suitable clothing is advisable.
For gym rehabilitation full sports kit is recommended. Male and female changing facilities with showers are available for use.

What to bring
Any information relating to your medical condition eg GP letter or referral, scans and reports, x-rays are always useful for the treating physiotherapist.

Payment for Treatment
Payment is requested at the end of each treatment session by either cash, credit/debit card.
